RAPHAËLE GARINET

Raphaële Garinet, a French artist, has embarked on an artistic journey that captures the essence of her American experience. Since relocating to the United States, she has immersed herself in the vibrant tapestry of American culture, finding inspiration in its myriad hues, sounds, and stories. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Raphaële scavenges magazines, catalogues, and brochures during her explorations and strolls, incorporating them into intricate collages. These pieces don’t just represent visual memories; they encapsulate the emotions, surprises, and insights that come from being both an outsider and an eager participant in a new world. Her artwork is not just a celebration of her discoveries but a testament to the transformative power of cross-cultural experiences.
